THESE ARE TOP QUALITY GENUINE GM WITH METAL STUDS AND NYLOCK NUTS ( NOT POOR QUALITY PLASTIC RETAINERS THAT BREAK ) Here is some information to help you with your current broken or missing moldings: Cadillac made the far BETTER quality moldings with the steel studs and nuts first....then later years they went with poor quality plastic studs that all crack off. It is nearly impossible to find the moldings without cracked plastic studs. Therefore we offer these earlier style with steel mounting studs that can be retrofitted to later escalades for improved quality. And yes, the woodgrain has a slightly different grain look, and most have minor cracking in the woodgrain, as they were made by a different manufacturer. *THOUGH THESE ARE PHYSICALLY THE SAME SIZE AND DIMENSIONS AS THE PLASTIC ONES, THE STUD HOLES IN YOUR DOOR PANEL WILL NOT LINE UP!
