The item is not marked by a maker, but it is marked Made in Japan on the underside of the base. This item in total measures about 9 inches high with the handle up (it is about 5 inches high with the handle down) and it is about 5.5 inches wide from side to side. The item does not work as intended. It will need service or repair to e functioning. The item feels as if it has been over wound. The item has some signs of loss and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
