Drumming Bunny. Vintage Alps Manufacturing. 1950’s era Item is in overall really good condition. The rabbit itself shows some storage and shelfwear mainly on his ears which could be perhaps, cleaned by the new owner. I believe this is merely from the way the bunny’s ears have to be fixed bent back when stored in the box. The winding mechanism winds and the bunny will drum, however, it needs a bit of manual help for the return drumming action to work rapidly. I will not attempt to lubricate or do any repairs or modifications as I am not an expert. I only wound it approx 1/2 turn for this test. This is a very early Alps toy. The box bottom is slightly deformed, this can easily be ironed by the new owner if you prefer it to be crisp. The box top graphics are remarkable and displays excellent. This will be an asset to your vintage wind up collection. Please review all pictures closely as they are an important part of the description.
