Description

Wind-up swimming toy made of Celluloid and metal, probably from the 1940's or 1950's. The mechanism still works. There are a few dents in the celluloid, notably in the cheek and one on the heel. There is some rust on the mechanical parts. Measures about 6 1/4 inches from the outstretched hand to the toes. There are slightly raised letters on the back just below the neck that say Japan.
