Vintage Tin Litho Dancing Elephant. FREE SHIPPING! 3 3/8" length. 2 5/8" height. 1 3/4" width. No markings. A delightful and desirable toy from the past. Paint is in excellent condition (see pics). This little guy was missing an ear. I carefully disassembled, cleaned and lightly lubed the wind up spring mechanism. Using the remaining ear as a pattern I made 2 new matching ears of similar gauge copper. The copper ears were patinaed with sulfur to a nicely matching dark grey. All metal assembly tabs are intact. (I have the original ear, I'll sell it separately if interested) Legs are articulated and positionable, however movement is achieved by offset weights in the spring mechanism causing vibration (see video).
